Danielle is a seasoned 500-hour certified yoga teacher and retreat facilitator with a wealth of knowledge cultivated over more than a decade in the transformational and wellness space. Known for her intuitive teaching style and deep understanding of yoga philosophy, Danielle creates experiences that encourage students to release stress, find balance, and reconnect with their inner power. Her passion for guiding others extends far beyond the mat, as she weaves her experiences into every aspect of her work

Lade Akande
“The Yoga Counselor LLC” was established in 2019 with the mission of bringing wellness practices to schools and organizations. The Founder, Lade Akande, is a certified 500hr Trauma-informed Yoga Teacher and holds an MS in School Counseling from Butler University where she also played basketball. With over 14 years of experience in education, Lade has worked in secondary, post-secondary and non-profit settings, sharing mindfulness practices and providing counseling, mentorship, and professional development that support well-being. Alongside Butler University College of Education, Lade has created a research-based yoga & mindfulness curriculum and has trained multiple school leaders in how to implement similar programs. She currently serves as the first Director of Wellness at an independent high school in Indiana where she spearheads efforts in enhancing programming for students, faculty, staff, and the caregiver community.
